Vandana looks on in discomfort. Maya (Jennifer Winget) prays to Lord Ganpati to give her a new life that revolves around Arjun (Kushal Tandon). She says I have left my childhood behind and now that Ashwin is no more I am free. Vandana is upset about Maya’s entry in her home and she refuses to decorate the house. She says I do not trust Maya. Vandana says Ashwin wanted to tell me some truth about her but died before that. She says I am a mother before a mother-in-law, I cannot let her bad shadow fall on my son. Saanjh says you are talking rubbish. Vandana says I might be talking crap but what if there is an iota of truth in my words.Jhanvi (Kavita Ghai) gives an emotional farewell to Maya. While leaving, Maya remembers her childhood and the torture she suffered. Vandana criticises Maya’s family saying that her mother was stupid to love a man who tortured her daughter so badly. Arjun tells Jhanvi that she should get upset as she is getting a son at home. He says he would love to live at Maya’s penthouse. Vandana says a broken person cannot build a home. She says Maya will destroy my Arjun and ruin him. Vandana says bahu is Goddess Laxmi but Maya’s marriage to him resulted in Arjun being charged for murder. Maya and Arjun at at the door and have heard Vandana’s statements. Ayaan and Saanjh look on stunned.Maya leaves the spot in tears. Arjun walks upto Vandana with a slow clap. He says the whole world will appreciate the manner in which you treated Maya. Arjun tells Vandana that Maya is not able to progress in life because of people like you. He says Maya is not responsible for her bad past. Arjun says I thought you would give her a lot of love. Vandana says Arjun your love is blind and you cannot see what is happening. She says her father died on her wedding day and you got charged. Arjun says Maya will live with respect in my home. He says there is no place for me in this house if you do not respect my wife.Arjun goes down to look for Maya. He finds her sitting near a temple of Ganesha and crying. Arjun says you were a monster boss, now you’re a cry baby. She says maybe Vandana is right. Arjun says you need not worry as your have a pure heart. She says what if people do not love me….Arjun says we will make people love us. He cheers her up. Arjun tells her let us go from here to a place where we will be alone. Maya says I want to go to your home and prove it to your mom that I can be a good wife. She says she is your mother. Maya says I want to make my place in her heart. Arjun says she is talking like a soap actress. He picks her up in his arms and carries her home.The Inspector tells constable Satam that Arjun will be trapped in the fight between Vandana and Maya. He says let us see how he survives all this.
